ENTRA NEL VIVO RALLYLEGEND 2023: MOTORI AL VIA. PEDERSOLI-ADAMO I MIGLIORI DELLA SPRINT LEGEND RACE

Nella serata di giovedì, si è svolta la “Sprint Legend Race”, primo impegno contro il cronometro. Grande folla e una atmosfera incredibile. Oggi, venerdi, shakedown in preparazione dello start del rally. Gli eventi del Rally Village, con il clou del 30° Subaru Impreza.

Una folla straripante, una atmosfera straordinaria ed elettrizzante, il tifo colorato e rumoroso di tante migliaia di spettatori, lo show e le evoluzioni dei piloti sulla “Sprint Legend Race”, apertura in grande della parte agonistica di Rallylegend, due chilometri e duecento metri di passione e controsterzi. Un giovedì sera ad alto tasso di adrenalina, alla caccia anche della migliore prestazione. Che ha centrato l’esperto Luca Pedersoli, affiancato da Andrea Adamo, già team principal Hunday Motorsport e oggi scopertosi buon navigatore per diletto. Con la loro Citroen C3 WRC Plus (WRC che hanno ovviamente monopolizzato l’attico dell’assoluta) hanno staccato di soli 7 decimi di secondo  l’altra C3 Plus di Stefano Zambon e Pietro Elia Ometto, quest’ultimo navigatore Campione Italiano Rally 2023, con una terza Citroen modello DS3 WRC dello svizzero Mirco Puricelli, con Nicola Medici,  a chiudere il podio. Spiccano tra i tempi di alta classifica, anche in modo clamoroso, un terzetto di Subaru Impreza degli anni novanta: il settimo assoluto del campione uruguaiano Gustavo Trelles, con Jorge Del Buono, il dodicesimo di Tony Cairoli, con a fianco Eleonora Mori, con il nove volte campione mondiale di motocross che ha subito mostrato la sue grandi doti anche al volante e il quattordicesimo dell’argentino Marcos Ligato, con Ruben Garcia.

SHAKEDOWN E HOT LAPS APRONO LA GIORNATA DEI MOTORI
Lo shakedown, i test in preparazione della gara, seguito dagli Hot Laps della Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 con un divertito Jari Matti Latvala al volante e della Hyundai i 20 Coupe WRC Plus di Dani Sordo, queste ultime due operazioni realizzate grazie a Pirelli, che è anche fornitore unico di pneumatici di Rallylegend. E già la folla delle grandi occasioni assiepa i lati della strada …

CELEBRATI I 40 ANNI DELLA VITTORIA EUROPEA E ITALIANA   DI MIKI BIASION E TIZIANO SIVIERO
Giusto 40 anni fa Miki Biasion e Tiziano Siviero centravano una splendida doppietta, vincendo il Campionato Europeo e il Tricolore rally con la Lancia 037 Totip del Jolly Club. La celebrazione di quel doppio successo, che ha aperto la carriera strepitosa del campione di Bassano, non poteva che avvenire a Rallylegend e, a ricordare quei tempi, c’era anche Claudio Bortoletto, il Direttore Sportivo del Jolly Club dell’epoca. Tanta gente ad ascoltare racconti sempre affascinanti, con il momento concluso dalla presentazione della Ford Escort Cosworth “vestita” Eberhard&Co che Biasion guiderà a Rallylegend: la stessa con la quale, trenta anni fa, “Capitan Miki” conquistò al rally Acropoli, la sua ultima vittoria iridata.

LA EPICA SFIDA TRA “TONY” E “VUDA” È ORA UN LIBRO, PRESENTATO A RALLYLEGEND
La verve, la grinta e la voglia di scherzare sono sempre le stesse. Tony Fassina e Adartico Vudafieri si sono ritrovati sul palco di Rallylegend a ricordare gli epici scontri sportivi che hanno infiammato rally e tifosi tra le fine degli anni ’70 e gli ’80. E che Andrea Cordovani, giornalista e Direttore di Autosprint, insieme e Vito Piarulli, nella inconsueta veste di autore, hanno fissato un libro dal titolo “Tony contro Vuda – Roba da chiodi”, la storia di quel periodo narrata anche con i ricordi di protagonisti dell’epoca. Alcuni dei quali, Aldo Fasan, Miki Biasion, Massimo De Antoni e Claudio Bortoletto, erano presenti sul palco di Rallylegend a completare un racconto avvincente e divertente.

30° SUBARU IMPREZA: L’EVENTO ICONICO DI RALLYLEGEND 2023
La ricorrenza è di quelle importanti e la location non poteva che essere Rallylegend per ricordare il 30° Anniversario del debutto della Subaru Impreza 555 nel Campionato Mondiale Rally, avvenuto al rally 1000 Laghi nel 1993. Per la celebrazione di “Subaru Impreza – 30 anni di leggenda”, l’obiettivo ambizioso e centrato in pieno da Carlo Boroli di Best, con il supporto di Vito Piarulli per Rallylegend, era riunire le quindici migliori Subaru Impreza 555 ex ufficiali prodotte da Prodrive, quelle che hanno visto alla guida tutti i più grandi campioni degli anni ’90. Prodrive con David Richards, come tutta la famiglia McRae, hanno risposto positivamente e con entusiasmo all’invito, con la loro presenza a San Marino e rendendo così unico, e probabilmente irripetibile, l’evento, Hollie McRae è stata per il secondo anno consecutivo Special Guest di Best e insieme a Carlo Boroli ha dato vita, nel pomeriggio di oggi al Rally Village, al Talk Show sulla Subaru Impreza con ospiti illustri e con la consegna di un premio speciale a David Richards per Prodrive. C’erano ovviamente Jimmy McRae, Alister e Max McRae, il crossista pluriridato Tony Cairoli, Piero Liatti e gli ospiti Jari Matti Latvala, Nicky Grist, Andrea Aghini e Miki Biasion. Un gustoso antipasto ad uno degli spettacoli dei prossimi giorni che rimarranno nella storia di Rallylegend: una parata di una ventina di meravigliose Subaru Impreza gruppo A, tutte insieme sulla “The Legend”.

RALLYLEGEND 2023 GETS INTO THE HEART: ENGINES AT THE START: PEDERSOLI-ADAMO THE BEST OF THE SPRINT LEGEND RACE

On Thursday evening the “Sprint Legend Race” took place, the first event against the clock. Great crowd and an incredible atmosphere. Today, Friday, shakedown in preparation for the start of the rally. Many events at the Rally Village, with the highlight of the 30th Subaru Impreza.

An overflowing crowd, an extraordinary and electrifying atmosphere, the colorful and noisy cheering of many thousands of spectators, the show and the evolutions of the drivers on the “Sprint Legend Race”, grand opening of the competitive part of Rallylegend, two kilometers and two hundred meters of passion and countersteering.
A Thursday evening with a high level of adrenaline, chasing the best performance. The latter was achieved by the expert Luca Pedersoli, supported by Andrea Adamo, former Hunday Motorsport team principal and today found himself to be a good co-driver for pleasure. With their Citroen C3 WRC Plus (WRC which obviously monopolized the highest part of the overall ranking) they outdistanced the other C3 Plus by Stefano Zambon and Pietro Elia Ometto by just 7 tenths of a second, the latter being the 2023 Italian Rally Champion co-driver, and a third Citroen model DS3 WRC of the Swiss driver Mirco Puricelli, with Nicola Medici at notes, closing the podium. A trio of Subaru Imprezas from the nineties stood out among the high ranking times: seventh overall by the Uruguayan champion Gustavo Trelles, with Jorge Del Buono; twelfth place by Tony Cairoli, with Eleonora Mori at notes – the nine times world motocross champion immediately showed his great skills even behind the wheel – and fourteenth place by the Argentine Marcos Ligato, with Ruben Garcia.

SHAKEDOWN AND HOT LAPS OPEN THE MOTORING DAY
The shakedown, the preparation tests, followed by the Hot Laps on the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 with an amused Jari Matti Latvala at the wheel and on Dani Sordo’s Hyundai i 20 Coupe WRC Plus, the latter two operations carried out thanks to Pirelli, which is also sole supplier of tires to Rallylegend. Meanwhile the crowds of special occasions gathers on the road sides…

CELEBRATION OF 40 YEARS OF THE EUROPEAN AND ITALIAN VICTORY OF MIKI BIASION AND TIZIANO SIVIERO
Exactly 40 years ago Miki Biasion and Tiziano Siviero achieved a splendid double title, winning the European Championship and the Italian rally championship with the Lancia 037 Totip by Jolly Club. The celebration of that double success, which opened the sensational career of the champion from Bassano, could only happen at Rallylegend and, to remember those times, Claudio Bortoletto, the Jolly Club’s Sports Director at the time, was also there. Lots of people listening to always fascinating stories, with the moment concluded by the presentation of the Ford Escort Cosworth “dressed” by Eberhard&Co that Biasion will drive at Rallylegend: the same one with which, thirty years ago, “Captain Miki” won the Acropolis rally, his last world championship victory.

THE EPIC CHALLENGE BETWEEN “TONY” AND “VUDA” IS NOW A BOOK, PRESENTED AT RALLYLEGEND
The energy, determination and desire to joke are always the same. Tony Fassina and Adartico Vudafieri met on Rallylegend stage to remember the epic competition that inflamed rallies and fans between the end of the 70s and 80s. And that Andrea Cordovani, journalist and Director of Autosprint, together with Vito Piarulli with the unusual role of writer, have conveyed in his book entitled “Tony vs Vuda –A matter of studs”, the story of those years narrated with the memories of protagonists of the time. Some of whom, Aldo Fasan, Miki Biasion, Massimo De Antoni e Caludio Bortoletto  were present on the Rallylegend stage to complete a compelling and entertaining story.

30TH SUBARU IMPREZA: THE ICONIC EVENT OF RALLYLEGEND 2023
The anniversary is an important one and the location could only be Rallylegend to remember the 30th anniversary of the debut of the Subaru Impreza 555 in the World Rally Championship, which took place at the 1000 Laghi rally in 1993.
For the celebration of “Subaru Impreza – 30 years of legend”, the ambitious objective fully achieved by Carlo Boroli of Best, with the support of Vito Piarulli for Rallylegend, was to bring together the fifteen best ex-works Subaru Impreza 555s produced by Prodrive , the ones that saw all the greatest champions of the 90s at the wheel. Prodrive with David Richards, like the entire McRae family, responded positively and enthusiastically to the invitation, with their presence in San Marino thus making the event unique, and probably unrepeatable. Hollie McRae was for the second year consecutive Special Guest of Best and together with Carlo Boroli he gave life, this afternoon at the Rally Village, to the Talk Show on the Subaru Impreza with illustrious guests and with the presentation of a special prize to David Richards for Prodrive. There were obviously Jimmy McRae, Alister and Max McRae, the multi-time cross-country skier Tony Cairoli, Piero Liatti and the guests Jari Matti Latvala, Nicky Grist, Andrea Aghini and Miki Biasion. A tasty appetizer to one of the shows of the next few days that will remain in the history of Rallylegend: a parade of around twenty wonderful Group A Subaru Imprezas, all together on “The Legend”.
