On February the 5th, the town of Galliate (Novara) hosted the presentation of team Yamaha V2 Icomoto.
All 2012 riders, Yamaha Italia managers, the sponsors, plenty of friends and fans were present at the event
The Team Manager Amleto Porro presented its projects and riders for the current year: Paolo Gaspardone, Edgardo Borella, Alessio Piccinato, Paolo Terraneo and Lucien Reinaudcamp.
The new Team of Supermoto will be as follows: Paolo Gaspardone in World Championship class S1, Egdardo Borella and Alessio Piccinato in European Championship class S2. All the riders will race aboard Yamaha YZF 450 BG12 FACTORY V2.
Yamaha V2 Icomoto Supermoto will also take part in the International Series, Italian Championship S2 and Coppa Italia.
“We started well – says Porro – Borella finished third in X Winter Trophy MX1 Challenger Yamaha in Cremona last week, a good result for a Supermoto rider compared to riders devoted only to motocross”.
