SUPERCROSS TIME: THE SHOW MUST GO ON “Brayton : non c’è due senza tre!”

Genova Show Time -Lo spettacolo è andato in scena! A Genova i piloti americani ed europei si sono dati battaglia per conquistare l’ambito titolo di King of Genova e questa volta la lotta è stata più accesa che mai, con il podio finale, tutt’altro che scontato. Il nuovo Re di Genova è Justin Brayton,il trentunenne pilota dello Iowa, alla terza partecipazione, si è aggiudicato il Main Event per la terza volta e come nel 2009 e nel 2012, ha dominato la scena sotto gli occhi del pubblico accorso in massa ad acclamare i piloti in gara. In più di 15.000, infatti, gremivano le tribune del palazzetto dello sport del capoluogo ligure.

Genoa Show Time – The show it’s staged! In Genova, the American and European riders battled it out for the prestigious title of King of Genova and this time the fight was fiercer than ever, with the final podium, far from from any predictions. The new king of Genoa is Justin Brayton, the thirty-one year rider from Iowa, at his third participation, won the main event for the third time, and as in 2009 and 2012 he dominated the scene, under the eyes of the massive crowd, more than 15.000 people where on the stands of the local sports hall.

A rendere la vita di Brayton dura, ci hanno pensato i piloti europei, in particolare Cedric Soubeyras eValentin Guillod, che hanno terminato, rispettivamente al secondo ed al terzo posto della superfinale. Il pilota americano della BTO KTM Photoshoot, autore dell’hole-shot, ha impresso ritmo forsennato alla manche, distaccando subito gli inseguitori Guillod e Bonini, partiti dietro di lui. Con la guida spregiudicata che lo caratterizza, Dylan Ferrnadis ha portato la sua Kawasaki del team CLS in seconda posizione, tentando una rincorsa difficilissima, culminata in una brutta caduta nel primo settore delle waves, dove il francese si è cappottato. A quel punto Brayton ha avuto la strada spianata verso il successo finale, con Valentin Guillod (Yamaha) che approfittava del passo falso di Cooper Webb sulla Yamaha Star Racing, per conquistare il secondo posto, ceduto nel finale al compagno di marca Cedric Soubeyras, più a suo agio sul tecnico tracciato italiano. Migliore degli italiani, Angelo Pellegrini che chiude con la sua Suzuki in ottava posizione.

The European riders maked Brayton’s life hard, particularly Cedric Soubeyras and Valentin Guillod, who finished respectively, second and third in the Super Final. The American rider of the BTO KTM Photoshoot team, scored the hole-shot and gave the pace to the heat, gaining meters on the pursuers Guillod and Bonini, started behind him. With reckless driving that characterizes it, Dylan Ferrnadis brought his CLS Kawasaki in second position, trying a difficult pursuit, culminating in a nasty crash in the first section of waves, where the French was nosed. Then Brayton had smoothed the way to the final success, with Valentin Guillod (Yamaha) who took advantage of the misstep of Cooper Webb on the Yamaha Star Racing, to take second place, succumbed in the final to the brand mate Cedric Soubeyras, that was more comfortable on the technical Italian track. Best of the Italians, wasAngelo Pellegrini who finished with his Suzuki in eighth place.

Holeshot Supercross class

Nella classe Lites hole shot per Nick Kouwenberg che con la Honda CRF del Team JTech parte davanti a tutti, alle sue spalle il pilota Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe, Brian Hsu,  seguito da Francesco Muratori, sempre con Suzuki. Il pilota olandese tenta la fuga ma viene raggiunto e passato da Hsu che vola sul difficile tracciato di Genova, verso la conquista della manche e del titolo della Lites, chiudendo davanti a Nick Kouvenberg e Francesco Muratori, migliore dei piloti italiani.

In the Lites class, hole shot for Nick Kouwenberg, that took a fantastic start with the Honda CRF 250 of the JTech team. Behind him was the Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe rider, Brian Hsu, followed byFrancesco Muratori, also with Suzuki. The Dutch driver tried to escape but was reached and overtaken by Hsu, flying on the difficult track of Genova, towards winning the race and the title of the Lite, finishing ahead of Nick Kouvenberg and Francesco Muratori, that was also the best Italian rider.

Podio SXLites

Dominio italiano nella main event della 125, dove Morgan Lesiardo si è aggiudicato la manche con la sua TM dopo aver ingaggiato un fantastico duello con il francese della KTM, Stephen Rubini. Dopo ben quattro avvicendamenti al vertice, l’italiano ha avuto la meglio, tagliando il traguardo davanti al rivale, mettendo a frutto la maggior abilità nelle parti più tecniche della pista. Terzo ha chiuso Nicola Bertuzzi,che ha completato il podio con la sua KTM del Team Silver Action.

The Italians rule in the main event of the 125cc class with Morgan Lesiardo that won the race with his TM, after a fantastic duel with the French KTM rider, Stephen Rubini. After four changes at the front, the Italian got the first position definitively, crossing the finish line in front of the rival, exploiting the skill in the more technical parts of the track. Third finished Nicola Bertuzzi, who completed the podium with his Silver Action Team KTM.

Morgan Lesiardo – 125

Raffaele Giuzio è il campione della 85cc a Genova 2016! Il giovane pilota KTM si è aggiudicato il main event nella prestigiosa cornice del Supercross di Genova con una gara tutta all’attacco, il pilota  varesino ha trionfato davanti ai due connazionali Capuzzo (Husqvarna) e Barcella (Suzuki), per un podio tutto tricolore.

Raffaele Giuzio is the 2016 Champion of the 85cc class in Genova! The young KTM rider won the main event in the prestigious setting of the Genova Supercross, with an aggressive race, the rider from Varese has won in front of the two countrymen Capuzzo (Husqvarna) and Barcella (Suzuki), for a full Italian podium.
