MX1 series leader Cairoli suffers from a troublesome left knee since last week and could do no better than 12th in the qualifying. Desalle and second placed in the Championship Nagl completed the top three. In the MX2 class Championship leader Musquin lost the pole in the last lap as second placed in the series Goncalves went by to win. Musquin was second eventually ahead of Roelants. MX1 Teka Suzuki WMX1’s De Dycker dominated the qualifying heat as he went on the lead the whole moto, finishing ahead of second placed Desalle with a 7.6 second advantage. De Dycker, who won in Lommel at the beginning of the month, took his fourth season’s pole to become the rider with the most poles to his credit. Desalle of LS Motors Honda was second as he is back to action after his maiden GP win in Loket. After trying to match De Dycker’s pace, the Belgian settled for second and just rode his own race. Nagl took a solid third ahead of this penultimate round of the series. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing German is second in the Championship and may exploit the bad weekend of series leader Cairoli to chip away at the 45 point gap. Cairoli is struggling with a troublesome left knee since last week and ended 12th in today’s qualifying. Though the Italian is confident for tomorrow as he hopes to make a better recovery during the two moto’s of the Braun Grand Prix of The Netherlands. Teka Suzuki WMX1’s Ramon made it to fourth ahead of De Reuver, who comes back to racing this weekend, Philippaerts and Billy Mackenzie. Other comeback rider Barragan crashed and did not finish the race. MX1 Qualifying Race top ten: 1. Ken de Dycker (BEL, Suzuki), 25:40.839; ; 2. Clement Desalle (BEL, Honda), +0:07.638; 3.
