Motocross Ucraina The track of Chernivtsi is ready to host the sixth Round of MX3

After trying his hand at racing with the premier MX1 class at the FIM MX1 World Championship, the current MX3 championship points leader Klemen Gercar will be looking to put his previous weeks experience to the test and extend his points lead. Currently sitting second in the championship, the current MX3 World Champion Matthias Walkner will be looking to snatch back the red plate after a terrible race at the previous round in Maggiora, Italy, where he lost it to the super Slovenian Klemen Gercar.

Meanwhile the third place of Martin Michek is definitely looking like a threat for the championship after coming out at the previous round in Italy firing on all cylinders to top the charts in qualifying and then go on to dominate race one. Unfortunately for Michek, race two in Italy saw him make a costly mistake which took away his chances of getting the overall and move up in the standings. It is expected that the Czech will bounce back even stronger this weekend in Chernivtsi, Ukraine.

Only ten points behind the third place of Michek is Estonian Gert Krestinov. Krestinov who was the early red plate holder will definitely be expecting to move up in the standings over the next four rounds.

With four rounds remaining and less than thirty points separating the top four, strong and consistent races are the key. While the battle in the MX3 continues to heat up, Ukrainian spectators and fans will be in for another treat with the future GP stars that take part in the European 65cc and 85cc championship also racing this weekend in Chernivsti.
