SENKVICE (SLOVAKIA), 19 June 2010 – FIM MX3 World Championship qualifying practice in Slovakia was won by Italian Alex Salvini (Husqvarna Cross 2 R). Valentin Guillod (KTM Swiss) is the winner of the UEM EMX2 European Championship qualifying race.

Riders were lucky with the weather. After it was raining a night before the weekend, qualifying day took place in the sun. Top three riders of the MX3 World Championship classification were on the top of the qualification. MX3 leader Alex Salvini continues with his great results. In seven qualifying practices this year he took pole position already for the fifth time. Italian was leading since he went on the track. But difference between riders is not very big. Matevz Irt (Husqvarna Tecno B) made second best time at the beginning of the qualifying practice. After that Irt had a big crash and could not continue with riding, but he stayed second till the end. Third was Carlos Campano (Team Yamaha Andalucia).

Valentin Guillod from Switzerland improves his results every weekend. After podiums now he took also his maiden pole position. Guillod was not very in front at the start but he made a fast progress and crossed the finish line first. Italian Giacomo Del Segato (MAX Team) took the holeshot. Del Segato has still some problems with the hand, which he injured at last round in Czech Republic and could not keep the lead. Steven Lenoir (Vamo Racing) was first who passed Del Segato but also he was not a leader for the long time. Guillod became a winner, Lenoir finished second and Andrea Cervellin (Husqvarna Cross 2 R) who has the red plate at the moment was third.
