rld MX2 championship
Difficult debut for the flagship pilot of the KTM UFO Corse FMI Team Samuele Bernardini who participated as a Wild Card in the second round of the MX2 world championship held on the hard and fast Bulgarian track in Sevlievo.
For the 125 European vice-champion this was a test to verify his potential in MX2, looking forward to his participation to the European MX2 championship. The challenge with the aggressive MX2 pilots has been hard but stimulating, very useful to increase his experience. Unfortunately the first manche was influenced by a poor start, but made it up to the 23rd position even after being injured by a stone projected and hitting him in the chest. In the following manche the lack of energy and a crash didn’t allowed him to do better than 25th, with an final overall 28th place. The Tuscan pilot will try this experience once again on the Italian GP that will be held in Fermo (Italy) on April 29. Bernardini will ride for the Italian spectators inspiring him to improve his performance.
