Here we are, the first big event of the year is coming! The staff of Off Road Pro Racing is completing the final preparations to welcome the long and prestigious list of riders and teams who will pack the Riola paddock. The means and men, the best of the best of the Motocross world, are ready to cross the gates that will open on what all is named “The sandy hell.”
On the list for what is the most incredible challenge of the last years many factory teams: Honda HRC, with the MXGP 2016 World Champion Tim GAJSER and his teammate Evgeny BOBRYSHEV, reigning Champion of the Internazionali Elite class; KTM Factory, which will field the eight-time World Champion Tony CAIROLI and his teammate Glenn COLDENHOFF. At the start also the Husqvarna Factory Racing Team which comes with all three riders: Max NAGL, Gautier PAULIN and Max ANSTIE. For the Factory Yamaha there will be the two officials of the Rinaldi team, Romain FEBVRE, MXGP World Champion 2015, and Jeremy VAN HOREBEEK, the MX1 Champion of the 2016 Internazionali and the 2008 MX1 World Champion David PHILIPPAERTS.
Honda HRC will be equally present in the MX2 class, with the defending Internazionali MX2 Champion, Michele Cervellin, which will be at the start with his CRF 250 and will have to deal with the official rider of TM Factory, Samuele Bernardini, who will attempt the assault for the title. At the starting gate also the machines tuned by the Yamaha Factory Kemea, with Brent Van Doninck and Benoit Paturel and the young Roan Van De Moosdijk with the Yamaha of the DP19 team. KTM will field both official riders, Pauls Jonass and Jorge Prado, besides the three riders of HSF Logistics team: Davy Potijes, Brian Boogers and Calvin Vlaanderen. Also the young protégé of Tony Cairoli, Joakin Furbetta will race, alongside of the rider of the Marchetti team, Ivo Monticelli and David Cislaghi, all with KTM; while the Ottobiano Team will let the Spanish Larranaga debut on the Husqvarna.
As it always happens at the Internazionali of Italy the list of young Italian riders in 125 is huge, with Raffaele Giuzio, Andrea Zanotti and Alessandro Facca, at the start with the KTM, but with Husqvarna there will be Alessandro Manucci and Gianluca Facchetti, ready to do anything to win the title of the cadet class, challenging the many foreign riders, attracted by the very high level of competition, perfect bench to test their level ahead of national and European series.
