Report Time – Numeri da record, trick inediti e grandi nomi questa sera per il Supercross di Torino. Nella splendida cornice del Pala Alpitour il pubblico ha potuto assistere, per la prima volta in Italia, all’esecuzione di un front flip, eseguito questa sera da Davide Rossi. Il pilota del Team Daboot ha chiuso la spettacolare serata del Supercross di Torino eseguendo l’incredibile trick davanti al pubblico ammutolito per la grande emozione di assistere ad un simile prodigio, esplodendo in un applauso liberatorio al momento dell’atterraggio, rompendo la palpabile tensione calata all’interno del palazzetto al momento della rincorsa sulla rampa. L’inedito trick ha chiuso nel migliore dei modi una serata di divertimento, spettacolo e sport, riportando ai massimi livelli il Supercross in Italia e lanciando Torino nel firmamento delle gare più prestigiose del mondo, registrando gli esordi in gara di piloti come Cole Seely e la leggenda vivente Ricky Carmichael.

Inside the wonderful dome named PalaAlpitour the people had watched, for the first time in Italy, the making of a Front Flip, realized tonight by Davide Rossi. The Team Daboot rider closed the spectacular show of Torino Supercross and made such an incredible trick in front of the public, who remained in silence for the great emotion given by this kind of phenomenal event and then became louder and louder after the landing. This unedited trick was the last emotion of a great night full of sport, entertainment and show, that launched again the Supercross in Italy at maximum level as well as made Turin to become one of the prestigious races in the world, due to the debut of Cole Seely and the presence of a living legend like Ricky Carmichael.

E’ Justin Brayton il nuovo King di Torino! Il trentaquattrenne dell’Iowa ha disputato una grande gara, portandosi a casa un secondo posto nella prima finale, una vittoria nella seconda e la vittoria nella Superfinale disputata davanti ai 10.000 del Pala Alpitour, respingendo nel finale gli attacchi del connazionale Cole Seely, a sua volta vincitore di gara uno e secondo nella seconda frazione. Sul terzo gradino del podio, alle spalle del duo a stelle e strisce, sale il francese Jimmy Clochet, autore di una splendida finalissima, condotta per cinque dei sedici giri disputati, cedendo la posizione prima a Brayton ed il giro successivo a Seely. Ai piedi del podio Christophe Martin ha preceduto Angelo Pellegrini, autore di una grande prestazione; il bresciano, quarto e terzo, rispettivamente della prima e seconda finale, ha terminato quinto nel main event.
Justin Brayton is the new king of Turin! The 34 years old rider from Iowa raced at his best: second placed in the first final and winner of the second final, also managed to get the victory of the SuperFinal in front of 10.000 spectators at PalaAlpitour, after a duel with his conational Cole Seely, winner of the second final, who did not reach to pass him. Jimmy Clochet is on the lowest step of the podium, behind the stars and stripes duo: he raced the Superfinal in a fantastic way, leading for 5 laps before having been passed by Brayton and Seely during the last lap. Fourth classified is Cristophe Martin, before Angelo Pellegrini: a great night for the rider from Brescia, because of his third and fourth places in the first two finals and finally fifth in the main event.

Le gare di supercorss sono iniziate con la superpole, durante la quale Justin Brayton ha fatto segnare il miglior tempo davanti a Khoun Sith Vongsana ed al connazionale Cole Seely, che ha preceduto un incredibile ed inossidabile Ricky Carmichael, incredibile quarto, davanti ad Angelo Pellegrini. Al termine delle due finali i piloti si sono sfidati in un adrenalinico uno contro uno, che ha visto approdare in finale i due piloti Honda americani, che non si sono risparmiati per vincere il trofeo, andato anche questo nelle mani di Brayton.
The Supercross race began with the Superpole competition, when Justin Brayton made the timekeeper register his best lap time in front of Khounsith Vongsana and Cole Seely, while fourth classified was an incredible Ricky Carmichael, who closed before Pellegrini. At the end of the two first finals, riders faced one another for a full of adrenaline 1vs1 challenge, that has been finally won by Brayton after a strong fight against his Honda American mate Seely.

A fare da contorno alle gare di supercross lo spettacolo dei maghi del Freestyle. In particolare il californiano Axel Hodges e l’australiano Jarryd McNeal, che con i loro numeri incredibili che hanno incantato il pubblico ammutolito sugli spalti, hanno portato un ondata di freschezza. Il confronto tra gli assi del Freestyle è iniziato con il Whip Rider Whip Contest che ha visto confrontarsi i migliori specialisti del potente trick, sulle due rampe di lancio allestite sul parterre del palazzetto. Dopo una prima selezione, i migliori tre hanno dato vita alla sfida finale ed è stato Jarryd McNeal ad avere la meglio su Axel Hodges, con la leggenda spagnola Edgardo Torronteras sul terzo gradino del podio. Il Best Trick 24MX è stato un altro momento di incredibile spettacolo; tutti i freestyler presenti si sono sfidati tirando fuori il meglio del loro repertorio ed è stato l’azzurro Leofini ad aggiudicarsi la vittoria finale, sbaragliando la concorrenza agguerrita dei suoi rivali con l’incredibile Moka Roll, variante tutta personale del Cali Roll. A chiudere le sfide del freestyle, il Team Contest che ha visto i riders italiani e quelli del resto del mondo darsi battaglia, con questi ultimi vincitori sui piloti di casa, al termine di un adrenalinico e spettacolare confronto, senza esclusione di colpi.
The show of the Freestyle Motocross has been alternative to Supercross during the night. In particular the Californian Axel Hodges and the Australian Jarryd McNeal, made the people stay in silence on the stands for their incredible tricks, testimonials of a new generation of FMX riders. The Freestyle competition began with the Whip Rider Whip Contest, that saw the best specialists of this kind of trick jumping from the two ramps inside the dome. After a first selection, the first three riders made a final contest won by Jarryd McNeal, before Axel Hodges and the Spanish legend Edgardo Torronteras on the third step of the podium. After this initial fight, the Best Trick 24MX contest took place and was a moment of unbelievable show: all the freestylers realized their best tricks, but the final winner was Leo Fini, who closed a fantastic trick entitled “Moka Roll”, a personal version of the famous “Cali Roll”. Finally, the Team Contest between riders from Italy against the rest of the world, that won this national teams duel after an exciting battle, where both the teams strongly compete for the victory until their last jump.
