Reggio Emilia I, 2nd June 2014. The Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 made its debut on the Italian GT last weekend at the legendaryMonza hi-speed racetrack, where experienced Lorenzo Bontempelli and Beniamino Caccia scored a fifth-place finish in the Sunday race.

It’s been an all-clear weekend at Monza for the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. – team principal Elisa Maioli said – We’re still not 100% yet, however the car performed great, constantly improving. We are very satisfied with what we achieved at Monza”.

In Race 2, the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ended up in 5th to top the Audi shared by triple Le Mans winner Rinaldo Capello and youngster Emanuele Zonzini, setting the third best lap in 1:50.460.

Now we are looking for the International GT Open debut in the Jerez round, scheduled for 21-22 of June, – added Elisa Maioli – although we’ll take part this year in more Italian GT races as well”.
