Reggio Emilia I, 19th June 2014. After having scored a fifth-place finish in the Italian GT debut at Monza, the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 run by Nova Race with JRM Group support, prepares its assault on the International GT Open series at Jerez. In Spain, 26-year-old British driver Craig Dolby will share the wheel with experienced Lorenzo Bontempelli, who already drove the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 at Monza. “We are honoured to enter the International GT Open with a young promising driver like Craig Dolby. - said Nova Race Team Principal Elisa Maioli - I am sure that Craig and Bontempelli will push the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 to its very limit”. “We launched our programme with Nova Race one month ago and already they are running top flight drivers like Craig Dolby alongside the experienced Lorenzo Bontempelli. There is a lot of interest from Formula drivers to move into GT racing so this pairing will help encourage these drivers into the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. I’m looking forward to some top results this weekend as the Nissan GT3 is also competing at Nurburgring 24 Hour and Snetterton British GT” - commented James Walters (Partnership Manager, JRM Group). Craig, after having won several major karting championships, moved to single seater. He raced in Superleague Formula for four years and finished second overall in 2009, 2010. Craig is an official driver for JRM, Nissan Motorsport International Official Partner. “I am very excited to get the oppurtunity to race with Nova Race and being in the Nissan. It's an opportunity of the last time really! It should be a very good weekend. We should have a very strong package for the race. I am definetely looking forward to it”. - added Dolby.
