Les Grandes Heures Automobiles, saison 2

Les Grandes Heures Automobiles 2015 hosted an amazing opening dinner for our first event, with around 30 drivers and riders including Hubert Auriol, Yannick Dalmas, Jacques Laffite and Henri Pescarolo, for an evening full of surprises and excitement.

A selection of dream machines appeared at the legendary Autodrome, like the Ferrari 250 LM, Jaguar Type D, MV Agusta 500 and Norton Commando 750 to name but a few.

The Group B line-up was also very impressive, including the extremely rare Ferrari 308 GTB Group B, 205 T16 Evo 1 and 2 and Lancia Delta S4, driven by René Arnoux, François Chatriot and Bruno Saby amongst others

It was a great chance to get together with the public. Drivers such as Jean-François Baldé, Jean-Pierre Jaussaud and Éric Saul were very approachable and happy to chat and sign autographs.

Many visitors and participants had come back here for the first time in a long while. They were not disappointed, judging by their incredibly enthusiastic and positive feedback on our Facebook page.

There was also remarkable media coverage including TV shows like Automoto on TF1 and Turbo on M6, and the cover of La Vie de l’Auto magazine.

In short, it was a great success and we are now more motivated than ever to prepare for the event’s second year.

Some people have spoken to us about dreams of a French answer to Goodwood. To try and approach this benchmark, we will need all the support of our fans to help us organise the greatest motor sports festival in France.

So join us on 24 and 25 September 2016, for the 2nd Grandes Heures Automobiles.
