Kessel Racing withdraws from
GT Endurance Cup at Nürburgring

Kessel Racing has announced its withdrawal from the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup at the Nürburgring this coming weekend.

Following the accident involving the Ferrari #8 during the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa, the driver Nicolo Rosi has still not fully recovered due to his broken ribs.

John Hartshorne, who is one of the drivers of the sister car #74, is unable to attend the upcoming race meeting due to personal reasons.

Ronnie Kessel, Team Principal, says: “It is obviously with great sadness to announce that we are unable to participate in the next round of the GT Endurance Cup, but in the end the health and well-being of our drivers come first. Especially Nico is still feeling the effects of the heavy impact he suffered at Spa. We are very much looking forward to racing again and to be back with the Endurance Cup for the round at Monza.”
