Dal 15 al 17 gennaio 2010, a Montichiari (Brescia), si aprirà KARTandRace, il salone dedicato al mondo del kart. Non mancherà, ovviamente, la Righetti Ridolfi che, anzi, presenterà due novità…
The start of the new karting season will be signalled by KARTandRace, the show that takes a 360° look at the sport through an exhibition, tests and many novelties. The event will be held from 15th to 17th January 2010 at the Centro Fiera di Montichiari (Brescia, Italy). And when you are talking about karting, Righetti Ridolfi is there at the front: with the intention, if possible, to surprise even more than they did last year. Here’s how.
THE EXHIBITION
There is no charge to get in to the KARTandRace show: visiting the 51.000 m2 of exhibition space will be around 6.000 people, from industry specialists to simple curious enthusiasts from all over the world. As last year, there will probably be a track set up in the external area (29.000 m2) of the event where enthusiasts will be able to experience the emotion of driving a real kart. There will definitely be a special track set-up inside one of the halls where kids will be able to try the tiny karts that are protagonists at the show. The presence of the Federazione Italiana Karting has already been confirmed, as has the presence of several Formula 1 drivers, the names of which are top secret for the time being. In short, it will be possible to see karts, chassis, accessories, clothing and equipment and anything else that has anything to do with karting. That is why both Italian and foreign companies won’t miss it. That is also why every enthusiast of the sport shouldn’t miss it. That is why Righetti Ridolfi will definitely be there.
THE RIGHETTI RIDOLFI NUMBERS
The numbers regarding the 2010 Exhibition are what offer the Venetian company, leading manufacturer of kart components, the certainty that they can take a step forward with respect to the previous year. In fact, notwithstanding the global financial crisis, Righetti Ridolfi will heavily invest in the kart exhibition and, above all, in new products and acquisitions.
Just to offer some examples, the size of the Righetti Ridolfi stand will go from the 400 m2 of 2009 to 500 m2 (or at least that is the amount of space that has been requested) for the 2010 event; the number of staff available to industry visitors and enthusiasts on the stand will be 15, compared to 8 in 2009. Then there are the karts that the company will display: last time there were 8, this time there wll be 11. Two of each? No, just many new models. In fact there will be two Goldkarts, two Mac Minarelli, two Extreme and two “rental” models; but the protagonists will be the new Minikart and two Allkart chassis, one for KF and one for KZ. Yes, Allkart, the historical company that has recently been acquired by Righetti Ridolfi (the details of the acquisition will be revealed in a later press release…). So, the mini chassis, the All Kart chassis and other new kart components, like the Internationally homologated aspiration silencer, are three extra reasons not to miss the first important appointment of the karting year.
