DAYTONA 24H: PEREZ COMPANC, WADOUX, NIELSEN AND VAXIVIERE IN THE RICHARD MILLE AF CORSE ORECA NO.88
Luis Perez Companc, Lilou Wadoux, Nicklas Nielsen and Matthieu Vaxivière will race in the 24 Hours of Daytona 2024, the 62nd edition of the American endurance classic – first round of IMSA SportsCar Championship – at the wheel of the Oreca-07 Gibson lined up by the Richard Mille AF Corse team in the LMP2 category.
Perez Companc is an experienced driver in endurance races in both the US and Europe, considering his several participations at Daytona and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Wadoux, official Ferrari driver, is the first woman to win a race in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), at the wheel of the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE EVO No.83 in the 2023 6H of Spa-Francorchamps (in that occasion she was racing together with Perez Companc and Alessio Rovera).
Nielsen, official Ferrari driver, is a multiple winner in endurance races in GT and LMP2 categories and it’s mandatory to emphasise his involvement in the WEC Hypercar class with the Ferrari – AF Corse 499P no. 50.
Vaxiviere completes the line-up at Daytona for the Richard Mille AF Corse team, adding concrete experience gained at the pinnacle of international motorsport.
